Sonipat(Haryana), June 20(UNI) Electric vehicle manufacturer Saera Electric Auto Private Limited (SEAPL) has commenced its new manufacturing plant at Bawal in Haryana. The plant, which was earlier Harley Davidson’s maiden manufacturing plant in India, is spread over five acres of land and is equipped with advanced engineering tools and equipment for manufacturing Electric Vehicles. “Our new plant at Bawal, in addition to our existing plant at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan, will further enhance the growth of our manufacturing capacity; thereby catering to the increasing demand for greener transportation in the country. The new plant of SEAPL has a production capacity of two lakhs units of electric two-wheelers and 36,000 units of electric three-wheelers in a year,” noted Managing Director of Saera Electric Auto Private Limited, Nitin Kapoor. Having started its journey in 2011. With its primary operation of manufacturing cleaner and greener electric 3 Wheelers (e-rickshaw and e-cart loader). Saera has now emerged as one of the leading players in the EV industry. SEAPL was the first company to introduce e-rickshaw in India with its brand Mayuri, which is the first to receive vehicle approval certificate ICAT from the International Center for Automobile Technology, Manesar. The company also manufactures popular low-speed e-scooters under the brand Yogo Bikes. All the electric vehicles manufactured by SEAPL are designed using cutting-edge technology.
